This past weekend, I was in Roanoke, Virginia for some family events. It was so good to see everyone and reconnect. Plus, I loved getting the opportunity to tell my teenage cousins about CollegeZapps and asking them to spread the word.
I also went to a local high school that my Mom works at to talk to the counselor as well. It was my first time to talk to someone solo and it was nerve-racking, but extremely productive.
On Sunday, Meagan and I met up in Richmond and went to several area schools on Monday. It is so much warmer in the South and now that we have heat on the bus! This definitely makes going from school to school more pleasant. Plus, we got to see some pretty nice schools and hand our information to some lovely counselors.
We are headed to Charlotte, North Carolina today, which I’m excited about. Home of the Carolina Panthers and some great schools as well!
