CollegeZapps knows that in order for high school seniors to enter college successfully, it takes the collaboration of students, parents, counselors and companies that care. Our blog section includes tips, resources and stories from our own CZ high school blog squad, college senior intern Hannah, the CollegeZapps Road Team and our CEO Dave Kenney. Everyone has their own college experiences and wisdom, and it’s only fitting that we have it all here for your help.

Lanly is a senior at Hamilton High School in Arizona. Her favorite movies are: Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Interview with a Vampire, American Beauty, Forrest Gump, Totoro. Her favorite bands are: The Hush Sound, The Format, Maroon 5, Relient K. Her favorite local hangout is: Anyplace with ice cream, yes sir =)
Nicholas is a senior at Rudolph Steiner High School in Michigan. His favorite movies are: Death at a Funeral, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Slither. His favorite bands are: Bob Marley & The Wailers, Peter Tosh, Steely Dan, Victor Wooten, Michael Franti & Spearhead. His favorite local hangout is: The Diag (Downtown Ann Arbor).
Maddie is a senior at Sandwich High School in Massachusetts. Her favorite movies are: The Village, Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman: Dark Knight, Signs. Her favorite bands are: Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, Third Eye Blind, Eiffel 65, The Fray, Jet. Her favorite local hangout is: School dances! (I know, I’m lame. But I’m okay with that.)
Chris is a senior at The Miami Valley School in Ohio. His favorite movies are: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Man on Wire, Tekkonkinkreet, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog. His favorite bands are: The Cool Kids, Born Ruffians, Girl Talk, E-603, M.I.A., Radiohead, Justice. His favorite local hangout is: 2nd Street Farmer’s Market, The Neon Movie Theatre, Boston Stoker.
Elizabeth is a senior at Brebeuf Jesuit in Indiana. Her favorite movies are: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pineapple Express, Stepbrothers, Sylvia, and a ton more. Her favorite bands are: Alice in Chains, Alkaline Trio, Cat Power, KT Tunstall, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, and way too many more to list. Her favorite local hangout is: Broadripple! Lots of good places to eat and really cool vintage stores.
Evan is a senior at Shawnee High School in New Jersey. His favorite movies is: Charlie Bartlett. His favorite band is: Mika . His favorite local hangout is: Medport Diner.
Meegan is a senior at Front Range Academy in Colorado. Her favorite bands are: Linkin Park, Paramore, Alan Jackson, Beethoven. A whole mix of stuff. Her favorite movies are: The Dark Knight, The Aviator, The Notebook. Her favorite local hangout is: Barnes and Noble or the Pearl Street Mall.
